This husband and wife duo is the perfect balance of technical expertise and creative genius. Look out world...the littlest Mourzine is falling in love with the ice, too!

Coach katrina mourzine
Katrina started skating as a young child, burnt out as a teen, and came back to the ice as an adult - with a new found love and passion for the sport. Her journey is not unique, but it gave her perspective on this sport that has shaped her coaching philosophy ever since. She comes to the ice with an appreciation and a hope to pass along the JOY of skating to all!

Coach Vassili Mourzine
Vassili started skating at the age of 4 in Moscow, Russia. He trained with and was part of the National Olympic Development Team. He competed in numerous National and International Figure Skating competitions.
As a professional skater Vassili toured the world with many different Ice Shows and Productions. He enjoys sharing his professional expertise with his skaters, seeing results, and watching them enjoy the sport for life.

Coaching Philosophy
Team Mourzine's goal is to foster a love of skating while helping each student reach their full potential. Whether it be in individual skating or on one of their Theatrical Teams, the Mourzines enjoy each step in the development of the athletes they work with. They believe that every skater's journey is unique and should be celebrated. From first steps to Gold tests, to National level competitions, the Mourzines love what they do and especially working together to help each skater reach their goals!
our story
Vassili and Katrina met when she moved to Las Vegas in 2013. As their coaching careers progressed, they both realized they shared the same passion when it comes to teaching...to create skaters for life. Although their coaching styles are very different, they compliment each other perfectly. Challenging their skaters to reach higher while developing strong technique, and ultimately, a lifelong love of skating. Together, they create a beautiful balance of structure and fun! The duo married in 2018 and welcomed their sweet baby girl in 2020. The Mourzine Family loves skating, skiing, fishing, hiking, and swimming!
